Simone Lewis 

Simone Lewis, is a Professional Makeup Artist currently based in New York City. Simone has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Media and Public Relations from The Oakwood University. The creative mind behind the Sincerely Lewis Beauty brand was born on April 1, 1990 in New York City.

From very early on in life, Simone knew their was a strong artistic side of herself that existed. As a child she often attended ceramics and painting classes with her Mother. She developed a love for drawing and sketching during her time spent with her Father. The desire to take that artistic love and turn it into creating the “Perfect Look” began during her college years.

College allowed Simone the freedom to explore with makeup that she had not been granted in the years prior. During her final years in college Simone discovered that although she went to school to become a TV and Film Producer, she loved creating the visuals for the story more than writing, directing or producing it.

That love for transforming faces led her to become a Freelance Artist for MAC for the last 3 years. During her time spent at MAC she learned a lot, chief of those being that she wanted to learn more through other avenues. Simone has attended classes by Sam Fine, Mario Dedivanovic, Sir John, Renny Vasquez and Alexandria Butler; all of which are some of Simone’s biggest influences as well as the some of the top Artist in the industry. Because Simone was able to add versatility to her artist resume, she has been blessed with the opportunity to work with Brides, the Winner and Runner up of the 2016 Miss Oakwood Pageant, Ron Pollard Photography, Sweet Gap Inc, Productions by Danita Jones and Message Magazine.

Simone truly believes that she has been blessed with a gift from God. With this gift she aspires to be the one that can create any look for any occasion that you can think of. She aspires to be the one behind the covers of Vogue, Italian Vogue, Essence and Ebony. She hopes to one day win Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Award, an Oscar and an Emmy.
